Chris' 25th December Mini-Album Keepsake

Maybe you don't have time for a full-on December Daily,
maybe a smaller mini-album for just the 25th December
of memories captured would be for you.

Using a raw chipboard mini album.
There are lots of options found HERE

Background paper is Theresa Collins Tinsel and Co
is a great way to add embellishments by cutting them out and
using foam dots /spacers underneath.  Each tree on the page is different.  I have
actually bought several more of this paper to use in my
Christmas layouts this season.

The background on this page is not paper at all,it is Teresa Collins Tinsel
 and Company Washi Tape collection
(put a 'washi' in a search in the shop and look at all the options
you could use for this technique)
Overlapped across the page, then inked around the edge.
The grey Washi Tape is folded in half lengthways and twisted
upon itself.  This is randomly placed over cute banners
are sprinkled around, looking all glossy and Christmassy.

Teresa Collins has a 12x12 sheet of cards ,Tinsel and Company
that can be cut down to 3"x4"each. These can be used in
a December Daily Pocket Album or Project life
or the words cut out, inked and arranged to fit into any sized mini album.
The black and white letters blended well with the background
of Candy Cane Lane(the reverse side of O Christmas Tree paper).
A Christmas tree is peeping from behind the letters
to give just a splash of colour.

Using transparencies is a great way to add extra photos
to a project, without adding too much bulk.
There is a cute little tab on the Tinsel and Company
It has a '25' on each end, so it fits perfectly on
                                                          both sides of the transparency.
The little words are Teresa Collins Signature Essentials.
There are 139 journalling snippets,
that can be used for so many themes.

Isn't Santa great!  He could be coloured in, of course,
but in this case he is just being subtle in the background.
The Merry Christmas and Santa stamps are from Candy Cane Lane.
and the circles are Tinsel and Company.
The two collections mix and match very well.
Putting foam dots /spacers under the circles gives the page some dimension.

The Alpha Stickers are the perfect size for a mini album and
placing them inside a matching label sticker
creates a distinct title.
Two enamel dots either side draws the eye to the title.

Another use for Washi tape is fold it in half
and pleat it like ribbon.  Put down a line of double sided tape first,
then press into pleats as you go along.
'JOY' is one of the Decorative Stickers
The whole sheet is now all used, because they are so versatile.

Here are the stickers again made into a Christmas tree with the
enamel shapes, sitting on a background paper, called Santa's List,
which blends in well with the other two Teresa Collin's
papers, that  have been using in the mini album.

   A view of the album

From a different perspective - all finished!

I have thoroughly enjoyed making this album.
And wish you a Happy Christmas and New Year.
