REVIEW: What's In Becky Higgin's Project Life - Jade.....

The Project Life system is just fabulous and I've certainly fallen for the craze...
However, its hard to find out exactly what's in a particular collection...

Today, I'll be explaining the 'Jade' Split Core Kit (its a smaller version approx. 1/3 of the size of the bigger kit)

So, looking at the smaller kit's picture, this is what you see when considering to buy along with it's name.... not particularly helpful....

And if you were to buy the full 'Jade Core Kit'
then you would see this pic when you go to buy.....
(will add though.. the colour in this offical product pic is a tad brighter then what it is in real life)
This is 'kind of' helpful... but what exactly IS in the kit?

And another question why buy a full kit and why buy a Split Core kit?

Let's answer the second question first....
Depends on how you scrap and your time.
Some Project Lifers... love the big kit and scrap completely from it....it's all colour co-ordinated..... easy!
Some scrappers (like me) like to buy the Split Core size, because its less, it costs less, then being able to buy some of the other Split kits for more variety....  no right or wrong way - just how it fits into your style of scrapping and the amount of time you have :)

Now to the first question.....
What's in the Split Jade Kit???

1/3 Core Kits contain 3 each of 50 - 3x4 cards, 10 - 6x4 Foldable Cards & 20 6x4 Cards - Total of 180 cards - This kit is great if you don't need 10 of the same card.

I set out to photograph the cards (both large and small) in colours....
and wow!   Big and small cards, and even card that have folds in the middle so they can hide journaling or photos if you feel inclined.

'Jade' colours...

Blacks, grey whites, coffee colourings....

Oranges and yellows.....

Blues.....

Reds.....

Isnt that a wonderful collection for  the smaller sized kit!!

PLAIN CARDSTOCK SETS:
A fabulous addition that can be bought to compliment the 'Jade' set...
are the matching Cardstock sets in both the

Here's an idea what's in them... and they match perfectly!

ALSO....
at the back of some PL cards, you may find in the Core Kit... a suggestion of where to place the cards in your plastic page inserts......
